In BlueTape’s second podcast, we continue the three-part series about BlueTape story. If you missed the first episode, you can find our first-ever episode here

we interview BlueTape COO and co-founder Patrick Gannon. Patrick brings in his expertise from the industries of real estate, technology, finance, and construction. Besides learning about his love for music and his daily hobbies, we find out how Patrick became an expert in the field of finance. With over 30 years of experience, Patrick incorporates his expertise into the framework of BlueTape, creating a platform with financing options designed especially for BlueTape’s clients. Patrick has gained first-hand experience in the construction and real estate industries, learning about the issues that plague the industries. Specifically, Patrick seeks to attack the cash flow limitations and lack of access to financial resources that small businesses face. As a finance pro, Patrick has gained the knowledge and resources necessary for creating a more level playing field for small and medium-sized businesses.

Patrick and Jason discuss the highs and lows that the construction industry is currently enduring. In 2020, as Patrick explains, the industry reached a new level of success that had not been seen since before the recession of 2008. Yet, when COVID-19 ravaged the nation, the payment issues and problems within the industry became more apparent. Patrick adds that these reasons and contexts make BlueTape’s solution more latent and necessary than ever before.
