BlueTape Authorization: The Solution for Processing Custom Orders

BlueTape sellers can now access BlueTape Authorization, a solution designed to streamline the processing of custom orders for both sellers as well as borrowers. BlueTape Authorization is a critical feature for many of BlueTape’s users, since it will enable them to invoice their customers for the precise amount needed after delivery without transferring any funds ahead of time. When a seller sends a quote to a customer, their payment will be authorized based on the initial quote, and the authorized amount will be deducted from their available credit and held until the order is finalized. Once the order is fulfilled and the invoice is ready, the exact amount will be charged, reflecting any adjustments made during the fulfillment process, within a 10% margin. This new feature ensures that customers pay when their orders or custom materials are actually ready, resulting in increased satisfaction. Additionally, it allows the sellers to charge the precise final invoice amount, eliminating the need for estimates. You will find a new “Quotes” tab on the BlueTape dashboard’s Receivables page. To begin using authorization, create a quote in the Quotes tab.
